Long weekend with Gemini Wolf shows of all kind and some Mikronesia music. Thanks to Kilo, Mellow Veneer and Quiet Jack for the fun times. Kind of a roller coaster weekend in terms of sound, crowds, sound people, vibes and milkshakes, but overall a positive experience.
We've got about three weeks off from Gemini Wolf shows until the fall New England tour in mid-September. I'll be performing with Perpetual Mvmt< >Snd at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. You can find out about those Fringe shows and the tour in the shows section.
Also, between shows this past Saturday, I got a chance to score some music for Derek Monach's short film for the 12 Hour Film Festival. He and his team had to write, film and edit a movie in 12 hours. I haven't seen the final product. I scored a bunch of short ambient / film music type pieces based on Derek's script and vision for the piece. Derek is also working on a music video for Gemini Wolf's song "Noah". Here's the performance only edit he did already. This is going to inter-cut with some of his stop action animation and other film sequences. Can't wait to see and hear the final product on both works.
