Busying working on post-production stuff for Josiah. We just had a small listening party last night with people on the album and band, etc. Expect announcements about the album release for the next six days as we get ready.

An amazing new Philadelphia based band, Gemini Wolf, has just finished their debut album. They recorded and produced the album at their own studios in Philadelphia and mastered it with James Dellatacoma at Bill Laswell's Orange Music Sound Studios outside of New York.
The band's sound is an amalagm of dozens of styles. Over a bed of ambient electronics and keyboards soar ethereal vocals, mellencholly string arangements, pulsating acoustic guitar, thunderous drums and dubby bass. Their songs and sound is often epic is scope, but is all grounded in solid musicianship and classical songwriting and arrangements.
Gemini Wolf has been playing as a full band for about year. They have released singles on Nophi records and have been featured on the Philly Car Share Soundclash CD Vol. 1. They have played various clubs and parties in New York, Philadelphia, Wilmington and Balitmore.
Before releasing the album on a large scale with a label, the band is having an album release party for the Philly fans. They will have a about 100 CDs featuring one of five limited edition 'Josiah' covers. The experimental photography artwork will be paired with a full scale photo show by Gemini Wolf singer / songwriter, Pandar.
The album release show will feature an extended set by Gemini Wolf as well as performance by electro-rockers The Hessians (featuring Kilroy) and a performance by Merle Keith (free jazz improv with live painting). Art@Sophi is curated by Mike Murray and Monika Turtle and will have various artists' work on display for the party. Also during Gemini Wolf's set, visual artists David Gerbestadt will be performing an interactive mixed media performance with video, oil projections and lights.
The event is $5 at the door. Gemini Wolf CDs and other merchandise will be on sale at the event. It's all ages.
